The Galerie Tacoma is a queer + asian + woman owned (and operated) tattoo studio located in the heart of Downtown Tacoma, Courthouse Square. We currently have 6 resident artists that all specialize in different styles and a body piercer! You can learn more about who we are, what we stand for, and how we evolved below. The Galerie was founded in 2023 by Chloe Thibault and Lo Angelot, a 22 year old queer couple located in the heart of Downtown Tacoma! The name “ Galerie “ comes from Chloe’s and Lo’s French heritage as “ Galerie “ translates to a viewing gallery, or art display. At The Galerie Tacoma, we are well known for our unique, inviting space. Full of warm tones, oil paintings, plants and soft lighting, you’ll love it here! Our artists all specialize in something different, so you’ll also be able to find your perfect artist here!
Here at The Galerie, all are welcome.We strive to create the best tattoo experience for you. Whether it is your first, second, or hundredth, we can assure in our chairs you will feel confident, welcomed, supported and safe.

Chloe is one of the owners of The Galerie! She has been in the tattoo industry for 3 years now. She specializes in fine line tattoos, script and florals. Meet
resident tattoo artist & co-owner of The Galerie
SHE // HER
Lo is another owner of The Galerie! She has been in the tattoo industry for almost 2.5 years now. She specializes in modern traditional tattoos, grunge and stippling. She frequently releases limited edition flash designs and would love to tattoo you soon! You can find more of her work below through our website or her Instagram!

Don has been tattooing for I.5 years now and specializes in abstract, shaded pieces! His custom & freehanded designs give off a whimsical, unique feel! In his spare time, you'll find him in a different state, out with friends, or taking photos!

Shayla is a licensed piercer who has been in the industry for 1 year now. She strives to create a safe and positive piercing environment for all her clients. Shayla began taking clients end of June 2024 as our newest member of The Galerie!
